Problem with leopard gecko? - leopard gecko throat abscess

I just got a leopard gecko for the first time last night. A few hours after arriving there, I opened the cage and began some of the furnishings in a way that was most true for Hime. frightened and in a hole in a folder that had slipped. I was a good decision and I knew that he did not go into the situation, I tried to remove it as gently as possible, but it does not work. In the end, there must be some excitement and some tug hard enough to leave. It appears that most, but I'm nervous. well, so I do not think anything is broken. However, it is very scary and looks very nervous. so when they see it, it seems that the rapidly throbbing bottom of the canyon. Is this a problem in breathing? What should I do? How long should I stop before I him sure that there is something wrong

First, if the plate looks more problems in the future, I suggest you remove it and use something to hide.

Secondly, a Google search for "Leopard Gecko Care Sheets" This is a great Care Sheets Leopard Geckos.

All reptiles are approximately 2 weeks of privacy be given (no handling fee, quiet, etc.), it is getting used to new surroundings. This reduces the chance of getting more than they said.

Leopard geckos are nocturnal species and UV lighting is necessary. The heat is needed and is the primary means for heating the facility uses a UTH (under tank heater) which will be placed on one half side of the installation so that they a hot side and a new face. Thewarm side should be around 85F. With a rheostat or control of the temperature adjustment assistance of another time with a digital thermometer with external probe that most large retailers charge (about $ 7).
You should have a normal leather on both sides with a damp skin on the warm side or near the warm side. The skins are used for wet when we lose, or get ready to start. It helps relax the skin, so they are less time evolution problems, such as the elimination of all non so widespread on the feet, the main cause for the loss of fingers and toes. For a moist skin can be used in a terrarium sphagnam deli cup in damp moss or moss, cut and you get a whole page of him and go.

Good luck with your new pet and PLCaresheets easy to read, about as much as possible.

although my gecko has been in many situations where I have drawn out.most geckos are very nervous and scared in the first two weeks are underground, but after they down. The start sinking to the throats of all leopard geckos t always moves very quickly. DON Don 'about it.If you start to see your gecko to even more stressed or nervous, you might want, but a towel or blanket over geckos always cage. That relieved stress for them if they know they have a little more privacy.

Sounds like I am stressed. Leave it for a few days during the adaptation to the new environment, and does not seem better to seek the assistance of a qualified reptile / amphibian vet. In the future ... If you can get there, you can probably leave.

Hide geckos do, and can not leave, do it whenever they can go, snakes are the only ones who seem to have a problem with it. The heartbeat is your breathing. When young and active is probably a good sign. Sounds good to me, so do not worry. I have 2 recommendations, try to feed wax worms crickets, and found a house and put plastic wetted TP there and keep the fog of his "cave" several times a day to moisture present. Of course, these geckos in caves in the Middle East are living, even if they live in the desert, they need more moisture.

I have a leopard gecko and I think that you should only try the best you can socialize with him to do. The Gecko has to know that you are not a threat to them. Avoid columns small cage, trapped in hollow trees could try half are about three inches high. Leopard Gecko is also called "House" actually a stone, ceramics are found in pet shops, and enjoy the shade. If he does not know the gecko has a UV light, moisture and moss. Be sure to keep on one side of the cage humidity. Good luck!
